crescent watching for the month of Dhul al-Qi’ dah 1441 took place after sunset on Sunday the 29th of Shawwal 1441 (Hijriyy), which coincided with 21st of June 2020. As a result, the sighting of the crescent of Dhul al-Qi’ dah 1441 was confirmed. Hence, Monday 22nd of June 2020 is the first of Dhul al-Qi’ dah 1441 (Hijriyy).
