Tuesday 4th of July 2019 is the Day of ^Idul-Fitr
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, Who ordered us to implement what the Messenger brought and to refrain from what he forbade.
Dear brothers and sisters in Islam,
Imam Ahmad in his ‘Musnad’, Imam Muslim in his ‘Sahih’, and many others related the narration through Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet peace be upon him said:
<< commence fasting the month of Ramadan when you see the crescent then end your fast when you see it; if it is not seen then fast thirty days>>.
Based on this Hadith and others and according to the Islamic rules, we at DarulFatwa Islamic High Council of Australia would like to announce to the Muslim community that Tuesday 4th of June 2019 is the Day of ^Idul-Fitr may Allah grant us the blessings of this great occasion. Ameen.
